Brainstorming Blog 2

My idea for the soundscape project will incorporate multiple characteristics to it. First off, I wanted to start out the piece with all nature noises that will slowly progress into more manmade/annoying sounds. My reasoning for this is that in everyday life, there are distractions in our society that are constantly stimulating our brains. Whenever I go camping, I find it almost eerie when there is a sense of quietness surrounding me. I am so used to the constant buzzing of appliances, people talking, air conditioner blowing, etc. it takes a bit to get used to. With this concept in mind, I want to display it through the soundscape.

It will be a slight progression throughout the piece and hopefully I can achieve this effect through fades and a "far out" effect. I also want to keep on overlapping sounds somehow to the point that it becomes noisy and cluttered near the end. However, this might change as I continue with the project. One aspect that I do need to keep in mind is that I need to make sure that I have enough sounds in the shared folder that have sounds that fit my theme. Otherwise, I will switch up my idea a little bit.
